All Survive Fiery Plane Crash On California Freeway
I can’t decide what is more amazing here. 1. That a plane was able to crash land successfully on a busy California freeway in the middle of the day (and by successful, I mean NO ONE was hurt). -or- 2. That someone was able to whip out their phone and capture the whole thing on video at a moment’s notice. Okay, after I wrote that…it’s not even close. Number 1 is the winner.
AMAZINGLY, the two passengers on the single engine Piper plane WALKED AWAY from this. Also, the only damage was to the rear quarter panel on a Toyota Tundra pickup. This to me is as stunning at Capt. Sully’s landing on the Hudson. This is a California freeway…and NO ONE was hurt by a plane crashing in the middle of it?! WOW!
