Driving in on 521 from Indian Land the past couple of days we've noticed that a former hemp shop is now sporting an orange and white sign saying, "Peach Cobbler Factory."  Immediately, we were intrigued.  Debbie did some online digging at apparently there's been one of the dens of deliciousness just a hop, skip, and jump from the radio station for a while now.  Also, yesterday there was a ribbon cutting on a new location in our former home of Indian Trail.  The one near our home is set to open later this month.   If you're like us, and have never heard of/about this...

Wait...there's more

On May 5th, Debbie and I started a life-changing journey with PHD Weight Loss.  Between the two of us, we're more than 80 pounds down.  Not since having to drive past the the "Hot Donuts Now" sign daily have we had to deal with a temptation/threat like this. <g>  Here's the frustration.  Debbie pointed this out not long ago.  When you're a recovering drug addict, no one is putting signs on the side of the road saying, "Get your crack/meth/smack here!"  However, the threat of delectable food is EVERYWHERE when you're trying to change your eating habits.   Look, we realize this is an "us" problem.  And we wish The Peach Cobbler Factory nothing but love and success in Indian Land.  We're just hoping that when we do feel like we're capable of walking in their door, we don't move in!
