Blake Shelton has a new song in his pocket for release on Friday (8/19), and he's going back to his mullet days for the look on the single's artwork. The new song is called "No Body."

Blake said in a press release about the new tune, "I get excited and feel like a kid every time we release new music. But this song, in particular, takes me back to the '90s when I was in high school and first moved to Nashville because it feels like what the music sounded like at that time."

Shelton posted on Instagram, "Had to bring back the mullet just for y'all... the new song is out this Friday. Pre-save link in bio. #NoBody."

His fellow "Voice" coach John Legend reacted to the post with a laughing emoji.

The song and the official music video will be available on Friday, Aug. 19. Filmed in a country bar in the Los Angeles area, the video harkens back to that '90s era when country establishments were filled with patrons line dancing. The video is authentic to the time and finds Shelton wearing a cowboy hat on top of his infamous mullet.

Blake Shelton has had quite an amazing 2019 in his career and personal life with Gwen Stefani. We take a look at some highlights of Shelton's 2019.
