Priscilla Presley recently revealed how she felt about watching Elvis and which scenes were hard to watch. The Wrap says she was not comfortable with some of the film. Priscilla said about seeing the interaction between Elvis and his manager, Colonel Parker, "He didn’t take Elvis where he wanted to be, and that was hard because I lived it." She continued, "He wanted to do movies, serious movies. I lived the arguments that they had, I lived Elvis trying to explain he didn’t want to do the movies with all the girls and the beaches and everything, that he really wanted to do serious things."

She added, "I was a little concerned at first when I heard that Baz was gonna do the movie. I actually met him; I invited him to my home, and we spent about four hours together. He put me a little at ease but still I didn’t know how it was gonna come out."

In 2018, a group of superstars joined host Blake Shelton on NBC to pay tribute to Elvis Presley and his legendary 1968 TV special. A few years later, Baz Luhrmann's 2022 movie Elvis chronicles just how that special came about, along with other aspects of Elvis' story.

As the new movie sparks Elvis mania, we look at what the Elvis '68 special tribute lineup looked like back in 2019.

The all-star group of music superstars performing included Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, Alessia Cara, Shawn Mendes, Adam Lambert, and Kelsea Ballerini. John Fogerty, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez, Josh Groban, John Legend, Darius Rucker, Pistol Annies, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town, and Mac Davis.
