Looking for a good pale to try soon? Might want to look to South Carolina for the best pale in the U.S. according to a recent competition. A beer made in South Carolina was just named the best after competing in a national taste-testing competition. According to The State, RJ Rockers Brewing Company in Spartanburg has the best pale for you to try.
RJ Rockers Brewing Company has the Palmetto Trail Pale Ale and it is a clear must-try! It has won the overall grand champion title for pale ale at the 28th annual United States Beer Tasting Championship. The beer also received the Best of the Southeast Pale Ale award. The State reports that there were a total of 726 beers from 180 breweries across 18 different categories. The competition determined both a grand champion and the best entry from each U.S. region. Lucky for us, we are pretty close to one of America's best beers.
The Palmetto Trail beer is named after the longest/largest train construction project in South Carolina, according to The State. RJ Rockers Brewing Company donates a portion of sales of the ale to help support the Palmetto Trail. The brewery is located in downtown Spartanburg and guests can enjoy live music, games, and other events every week. If you are ever in South Carolina, then you should check it out and let us know what you think of the ale!
