Jumping rope has never really been my thing.  Heck, JUMPING isn’t really my thing.  But these dogs have it figured out.

In this short clip posted to Twitter by user @TheWoofWorld, small dogs take turns jumping rope.  Another dog helps by holding the rope while it spins.  As one commenter puts it, it’s cuteness overload.

2020 will be known for a lot of things. But one most positive? The puppy boom! Spending so much extra time at home contributed to a large increase in dog adoptions in the United States. Whether it was looking for companionship or just having the extra time to dedicate to training and raising a puppy they were a great source of comfort for many during a trying time. I’m sure you know plenty of people maybe even you who added a dog to the family in the last few years. But what were the most adopted dog breeds?

Our friends at TOP puppy adoption levels prior to and during the pandemic discovered some very interesting facts about Americans’ favorite pets. They ranked each state’s most adopted dog breeds as well as ranked the most puppy-obsessed states. Here were the 5 most adopted dog breeds in North Carolina:

They also ranked each state according to the number of people per capita looking to adopt a dog in the same time period. Below are the top 15 states as well the most popular adopted dogs in each state. To do this TOP Data analyzed a dog adoption database of 500,000 adopted dogs, analyzed online adoption data, and surveyed 1,000 dog owners across the U.S. Did you add a furry friend to your family in the past few years? I didn’t but these adorable dogs are definitely giving me puppy fever.
