This summer, our son worked in the golf shop at Grandfather Mountain Country Club as part of his degree plan.  The good news (if you've never been there), in the summer, the temperature RARELY is higher than 75-80 degrees.  The bad news?  Well, not exactly bad news, just a concern if you are a parent.  Bears.  He was living with three other college boys, and you just know how careful they are with discarded food and trash.  And when you get careless like that in the mountains of North Carolina, you're just asking for Winnie, Yogi, and their friends and family to pay you a visit.  Which leads me to this from eastern Kentucky.  Think of a great night in the mountains on the back porch with your friends, enjoying pizza.  You all head indoors to grab some beer-whatever.  No one is gonna steal your pizza, right?  WRONG!

Smartly, the victims of this pizza theft stayed indoors and merely recorded the incident from afar without interrupting the obviously hungry bear.  I guess the good news is at least "Boo Boo" didn't get the beer too! <g>
