NASCAR All Star Race Could Be Coming Back To North Carolina
So here is the latest on the NASCAR All-Star Race. On Wednesday, The Athletic and sources close to WCNC Charlotte said that NASCAR is planning to host the 2023 All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
There will be a press conference at N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh today. North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper, Speedway Motorsports executives, NASCAR officials, and NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be there for the announcement.
North Wilkesboro Speedway was busy with NASCAR Cup Series races from 1949 to 1996. Then decisions were made to leave the track. Many fans were not happy. This would be a nice return to the area for the sport. More details as we get them from NASCAR.
