There is something about this time of year that takes me back to so many fond memories.  I love the Fall weather and football games.  Most of all I love the fair.  We have been visiting the Cabarrus County Fair since 2006.  I really enjoy amusement rides.  But, in my opinion, the most unforgettable part of the fair is all the delicious food.  It's something we only treat ourselves to once a year.  I think that's what makes it even more special.  We're so excited that the Cabarrus County Fair is back in full swing this season, and we were fortunate enough to visit on opening day to sample some of the amazing dishes vendors have to offer!  How do I describe Gus of Gus' Greek Food?  Gus is a ball of energy with a delightful personality you can't help but love.  And his food is incredible.  He and his family are working hard in the truck to crank out authentic Greek treasures passed down from generations.

Gus fed us well.  We snacked on Gyros, Chicken Pitas and Ribbon Fries topped with the most amazing tzatziki sauce.  The recipe is a closely guarded secret.  I wouldn't part with it either!  They also serve up gargantuan turkey legs that looked delicious.  Everything at Gus' Greek Food is fresh and authentic.  You will definitely leave satisfied, full and happy!  You and your family can enjoy Gus' greatness and the rest of all The Cabarrus County Fair has to offer until September 17.
