Public Speculates King Charles’s Bodyguards Use Fake Hands
Over the last week following Queen Elizabeth’s death, the public has understandably been more focused on King Charles. With the spotlight on his every move, the public can’t help but notice the king’s bodyguards. Specifically everyone is questioning something odd about their hands. Many TikTok users are posting pictures zeroing in on what they deem to be rubber hands. I know it seems beyond ludicrous. However, I think if you stare at something long enough, it’s appearance begins to morph into something odd-looking. I admit while skeptical, I can almost see what people are saying. But, take a look for yourself and see what you think.

You may be asking why the bodyguards would employ the use of rubber hands. In the court of public opinion, it is thought they may be decoys for weapons hidden underneath their coats. Will Geddes, a security expert for nearly thirty years says it is simply not true. Geddes says although it may be a tactic other countries use, it would not happen in Britain. He points out it is not necessary for guards to use fake hands. And, it could come with a host of potentially dangerous complications. It could hinder the guard who may be trying to quickly grab the weapon should the need arise. I have to say, I am amused at the notion, tho!
