Charlie was playing this video this morning and I got this weird look on my face.  I think he got the message.  I don't love the music of "The Band" as he does.  Levon Helm, Robbie Robertson and company are one of his favorite guilty musical pleasures from the 1970s.  "Ophelia" is on just about every playlist on his phone as is this.  "The Weight" is one of those tunes that everyone knows, but it's been my experience, not everyone knows the title.

The answers you get most often when you ask someone what they think it is?  "Take A Load Off Annie" or "Put The Load Right On Me."  Whatever you want to call it, the song continues to be a banger (for everyone but me, apparently <g>) almost 50 years since it was first recorded.  This was recorded from the stage of The Grand Ol Opry this weekend and features Eric Church, Little Big Town, Marty Stuart, and Chris Stapleton (and his wife, Morgan) just slaying this cover.  He's going to be singing this song all day.
