Jimmie Johnson Revving To Retire From Full Time Racing
He has been a Nascar champion seven times but according to Channel 9 in Charlotte, Jimmie Johnson is read to hang it up at least from full time racing.
He reportedly says; “he is just not there” when it comes to racing full time anymore, “I’m going to take a deep breath and see what 2023 looks like”. He goes on to say he thinks he will race somewhere next year. Jimme is also an Indycar driver.
The 47-year-old says this does not amount to a “goodbye”; he just wants to pursue new ways to challenge himself.
