The ‘Coziest Restaurant In North Carolina’ Is One of My Personal Favorites
I am thrilled to find that a little tucked away restaurant near Boone, North Carolina has just been named the coziest. My husband Rick and I stumbled on to it last fall. This is exciting. The only problem is, now everyone is going to know about it.
We decided at the last minute to go on a day trip up to Boone but what we didn’t know was it was homecoming weekend at App State. Every square inch of Boone was filled with parents and families of graduates. I had heard about a little town called Valle Crucis which is just a few miles from Boone so we made our way there. The town is adorable! You will feel like you stepped back in time.
While we were there, we spotted this adorable little place called, “Over Yonder“. It looks like it was once a large farmhouse, but it has been converted into the cutest restaurant you have ever seen. It is very cozy, very romantic and the food is amazing. By the way, if you go get the pimento cheese/onion appetizer and I promise you will thank me later. The view is stunning. I suggest you make a reservation. We got lucky that day and had service right on the porch. The service is incredible too.
A website called Cheapism named “Over Yonder” the coziest restaurant in the state. They called it a place to get a nice meal in a beautiful spot but it is so much more! If you ever get a chance, I highly recommend you go there. To get details and find out other cozy spots get details right here.
