2 South Carolina Restaurants to Appear on Food Network’s Restaurant: Impossible
Are you a fan of the Food Network like me? If so, then you may or may not have heard of the show Restaurant: Impossible. Talk about entertainment! The show stars Food Network superstar, Chef Robert Irvine, as he takes on restaurants around the country in need of some help. He fixes failing restaurants on the verge of closing and helps them revamp their menu, customer service, management, and more. Well, if you ever wanted to make an appearance on the show, now might be your time.
The State reports that the Food Network will be making a stop in South Carolina and 2 local restaurants. Runway Cafe owner, Mike Bliss, reportedly wrote into the show requesting the help of Chef Irvine. He says that his Greenville restaurant needs some freshening up after the impact of the pandemic. Now, his restaurant is making an appearance. Show crews will be in Greenville, South Carolina at Runway Cafe on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. They will also be making an appearance at another South Carolina restaurant, Big Cliff’s BBQ on Oct. 22 and Oct. 23.
Chef Irvine will be at the two locations to help enhance their overall appeal. He will monitor the business first to get an idea of how things work. There will also be a design crew that will have a $10,000 budget to help improve the look of the business. Then they will invite in locals to test out new menu items and the new layout.
