South Carolina Combat Vet Receives Home Makeover on New Show

Jonathan Thomas is an American hero and just a few days ago, recognized by a ‘Military Makeover’ program on Lifetime.  His home was just completely renovated on the show and dedicated to helping vets repair and renovate their homes. And it was a complete surprise for him! Thomas is a combat veteran that served two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Thomas risked his life to save at least two people during conflicts.  It is not every day that you see Montel Williams in Lancaster County, but the TV host came for the big reveal. Williams is also a military veteran spending 20 years in service to the country. To learn more, get details about this story from Channel 9.

Charlotte Has 9th Most Veteran-Owned Businesses in the U.S.

Charlotte has some amazing veteran-owned businesses throughout the city. Do you know how many veterans there are throughout the country? According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, there are about 19 million veterans living in the U.S. Many veterans are entering the entrepreneurship field and starting up tons of businesses on their own.
