A tech firm CEO reently made headlines for firing two remote workers who had separate full-time jobs.

Davis Bell took to Linkedin to tell the story of axing two recent hires who were already working full-time for another company.  This happened at tech firm Canopy, but other companies are reporting similar situations.  According to zdnet.com, financial services company Equifax recently parted ways with 24 employees for working multiple jobs -- some with as many as three full-time roles.

While working from home revolutionized the workplace for many, it has created challenges when it comes to monitoring worker output.  Employers are starting to look for signs of workers holding down multiple jobs, including refusal of insurance benefits, making professional profiles private after the hire, and lackluster response times.
