When neurologist Andrew Stefanick won $200,000 on a scratch-off lottery ticket, he immediately called his parents to say he'd be splitting it with them.
“I bought the ticket, but we all play together,” he told WJZY-TV. “Any major amount we split three ways.”
So Andrew and his parents made the trip to NC lottery headquarters Monday to collect their winnings. They each received a little over $47,000, after taxes.
Andrew won on the Hot 5's ticket, and says he'll use his part of the winnings to do some home repairs.
