A Russian company offers to bury you alive if you can afford it.  The founder and self-proclaimed business coach announced  this week her company offers to bury you alive for $57,000.  The company's full immersion fake funeral includes a temporary burial for an hour.  It also comes with a full religious ceremony.  However,  if you want to spend a little less, she has a $15,000 package.  The lesser of the two includes attending your own "online funeral."  She claims the experiences help customers deal with fears and anxieties.  She describes it as "fighting for yourself and your own happy future."  Her theory  is attending your own funeral renews a person's desire to live.  This isn't the first time a therapist used the buried alive technique to treat patients.  A psychologist employed the practice in 2018.  The police got involved to ensure no one was hurt or forced to participate.

I certainly understand that we all take life for granted from time to time.  And, there's something to the idea of making sure you appreciate every day.  After all, tomorrow is not promised.  Although, there's a way to accomplish this without taking this company up on their offer to bury you alive.   Set a goal to be thankful and show people you care every day.  Plus, I can't imagine a burial helping any anxiety.   Of course,  the thought of dropping $57,000 really gives me chills.  So, while the pricey fake funeral is not for everyone, we can thank this woman for encouraging us to take time to appreciate the life we have.  It's easy to forget how precious it is.  And, sometimes it takes a wake-up call to remind us.  But, I think all this experience would do is make me miss $57,000!
