Luke Bryan Gets Backlash For Bringing Florida Governor On Stage During Concert
According to Taste Of Country, Luke Bryan recently caught heat at a Florida concert for bringing Ron DeSantis on stage.
DeSantis joined Bryan onstage at the beginning of the star’s set. Luke then announced that “a large portion” of proceeds from the night’s show would be donated to the Florida Disaster Fund.
Some were upset about this act. They took to the internet to express how angry they were about this incident. Luke responded, “I typically don’t respond to stuff when I’m getting run down on a social platform, but here’s the deal. I understand Governor DeSantis is a very polarizing figure. But I grew up in a country where if the governor asks you if they can come and raise awareness to help victims of a natural disaster, you help.”
Way to go Luke. Sure didn’t sound like the crowd was upset.
