Chris Young was so serious about looking the part of his Halloween costume last night (10/31) that he shaved most of his trademark beard off.

Chris posted a photo of him almost clean-shaven on his Instagram. He captioned the photo, "The beard is pretty much gone… it's costume time! #happyhalloween."

Young's post got several responses, one from fellow singer Mitchel Tenpenny, who commented, "Damn daddy." Carrie Underwood's concert photographer Jeff Johnson wrote, "Yeah, dude!!!!!"

Fans piped in on the new look as one wrote, "Oh so nice to see your gorgeous face and love the hairstyle. You are one sexy beast, Chris young." Another fan gushed, "How handsome! Young face..literally lol." One more fan wrote, "Oh my...Batman ready!"

Later, Young posted another photo to Instagram of himself as Batman and a friend as Superman. He wrote, "Batman VS Superman #dc #halloween @floridasuitguy @moncellallenproductions."

One fan responded, "The face-off begins...The mysterious heroic dark side of Batman rescues me!" Another commented, "Oh, this is so awesome!" One more fan said, "You are an awesome Batman. Handsome as ever."

As winter approaches, we can only hope Chris keeps it safe, as, in February of this year, he took a tumble down the stairs on his property after slipping on ice. When he fell, he took to Instagram to show his injured arm and address the fact that it was still a bit icy in Tennessee after a big ice storm.

He shared in a video, "Shoutout to the girl that just saw me fall all the way down my stairs and checked on me. I appreciate that. Also, it's still icy in Tennessee."

Young's tour season has wrapped for the year except for one show on November 12 in Laughlin, Nevada. After that, the next concert date on the books is in January of 2023.
