Is Tech Deforming Your Body?
Much of the technology we enjoy may be ruining our bodies for future generations, according to a new scientifically-developed computer model.
If tech use continues at current levels, the model predicts humans will evolve deformities such as “text claw,” hunched back, and even a second eyelid.
The research involved designing a 3D representation of the long-term effects of computer and smartphone use. The future human appeared quite altered from the human form we know today.
For me, the strangest prediction was the second eyelids. Researchers speculate the extra eyelid would block excessive light from certain wavelengths, much like Blue Blocker sunglasses.
If you suffer from “tech neck” or think you may be evolving a second eyelid to block all the blue light from your smartphone, you may want to check out all the findings at studyfinds.org.
