To say I am a highly competitive person might be a stunning understatement.  I don't care if it's a round of golf or checkers at Cracker Barrel, if I'm in it, I'm in it to win it.  Speaking of which, one of the most excited moments I've ever witness in my son's life was when he broke through the barrier and beat me at a game of checkers in front of the fireplace at Cracker Barrel.  Those who witnessed the endzone dance he did must have thought, "That 7-year-old boy has issues."  My mom, to this day will tell you, 'The only reason why we keep score is to identify the winners and losers."  And she's right.  Gawd, did I just say my mother was right?!  Ugh.  Anyway, being competitive-really competitive-involves another "c" word:  commitment.  Just about every coach I ever played for demanded "100% commitment...heart, body, and soul."  Which leads me to this guy.  Yesterday, the Raiders/Jaguars game was paused by a streaker.

Now, when I see the word "streaker" in a story, I expect to see nothing on but perhaps a pair of Nikes.  THAT'S 100% commitment.  This guy?  While the Raiders were punting, this dude takes off around the 40-yard-line.  Security starts the chase while the ball is in the air.  It takes around 8 guards to bring him down.  Why were so many, so willing to engage this lunatic?  He was still wearing shorts!  No one wants to be captured forever on video tackling a buck-naked man.  But a man in shorts?  You would do that at the beach!  In other words, this man's lack of commitment to his effort, made him much easier to take down.  I can hear his coach yelling at the TV now.
