If you’re looking for things to do with your family, especially the kids, over the long Thanksgiving weekend, why not hop aboard The Polar Express with the Charlotte Symphony? You can revisit the 2004 holiday favorite on the big screen with a live musical accompaniment.

Christopher James Lees, resident conductor of the Charlotte Symphony, will lead the performance at the Belk Theater (130 N. Tryon St.) in uptown Charlotte. As you ride along on the Christmas adventure with Tom Hanks, animated conductor of the Polar Express, you’ll even be served hot chocolate by singing waiters.
