I have a 45-minute commute into Charlotte from my home in Clover, South Carolina every single morning.  By now I know every pothole along the way and there are many. Charlotte is not the worst city for potholes in North Carolina, but you are about to know the North Carolina city with the worst.

Don't you hate the feeling when you are traveling along at the posted speed and bam, you hit a pothole.  You are just sure it has damaged your vehicle and often that is true. According to AAA, 3 billion dollars are spent each year on car repairs due to potholes. Surprisingly, North Carolina ranks 46th in the state for the worst roads for potholes according to Quote Wizard.

So, according to the experts which North Carolina city is the worst?  That would be Greenville, North Carolina according to Quote Wizard.  Greenville is a gorgeous city but according to this report could use a little road work.  Wanna avoid potholes statewide? Michigan is considered the worst state overall for potholes.
