Leaking Sewage A Threat To The South Carolina Coast
Leaking sewage has now become a problem for some parts of the South Carolina coast. A lawsuit alleges a developer is not doing his job in keeping the community safe.
This is happening in a limited population area of northern Charleston county. Two major housing developments are reportedly to blame and it all has to do with septic tanks and how the sewage is affecting nearby creeks. Obviously, leaky septic systems are not good for people or for the environment.
The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is seeking damage control and holding those responsible to be accountable for the faulty sewage systems. To learn more about this story get details from TheState.Com.
