A former Carolina Panthers player has been arrested for allegedly stealing luggage at the Atlanta airport.

Damian Parms, who played safety for the Panthers during the 2017 season, was charged with theft after police say he stole a phone charger from a bag in the airport's baggage claim.

Atlanta television station Fox5 obtained the police body camera footage, which shows Parms being questioned about the incident.  Authorities allege he took a bag from the carousel, stole a phone charger, then returned the bag to a different carousel.  Parms had not been on a flight and it was unclear why he had come to Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport's baggage claim area.

Parms did not see a lot of playing time with the Panthers.  He also spent time with the Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Falcons.

It's not the only legal trouble for former Carolina Panthers players recently.  Ex-Panther defensive back Captain Munnerlyn was arrested in Miami for allegedly writing bad checks in Las Vegas.
