Reunion Video: South Carolina Sheriff’s Department Finds Lost Police K-9
Gunner is home safe.
Officials with the York County Sheriff’s Office say they have recovered a police K-9 that ran off during training Wednesday. The good news was shared in a post on Twitter.

Gunner had been training with his handler at Kings Mountain State Park on Wednesday when he pulled away and ran off. After nearly 24 hours on the run, Gunner was found Thursday.
“We found Gunner!! Cold, wet, hungry, tired but is in great health!,” the Sheriff’s Office tweeted. During the search, social media teams at the Sheriff’s Office had been using the hashtag #findgunner.
