Former Charlotte Hornets Head Coach Passes Away at 79
Former Charlotte Hornets head coach Paul Silas passed away. He was 79-year-old. He was the last coach to take the Charlotte Hornets to a series playoff win back in 2002.
The Charlotte Observer writes that Silas was also an excellent NBA player himself, having played professionally in the association for 16 years. He coached the Hornets from 1998-2002. According to the Observer, all winning seasons.
