Carolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold really upped his gift giving game this year and the players are loving it!
Panthers beat reporter @josephperson noted it’s a hit with offensive tackle Brady Christensen.

Brady Christensen: “I can’t wait to get that going in the backyard.”
According to another Panthers beat reporter (@Sheena_Marie3), the pizza ovens are made by Ooni Koda.

A quick internet search for the Ooni Koda 16 reveals that they cost around $600. According to the manufacturer, they heat up to a toasty 950 degrees and can cook “fresh, stone-baked pizza in as little as 60 seconds.”
The fancy pizza ovens are an apparent improvement over the O-line gift Darnold bestowed when he was with the Jets.
In December of 2018, Darnold gave his offensive linemen personalized grilling tools and a $300 gift card for steaks. The gift fell flat with its recipients, and the O-line pranked Darnold by removing the front wheels from his SUV.
It’s customary for quarterbacks in the NFL to give gifts to their offensive lines. Among the offensive line gifts this year, custom suits, expensive bags and golf clubs.
The Carolina Panthers offensive line has definitely improved over the course of the season, turning in a truly impressive performance against the Detroit Lions last Saturday.
The Panthers take on division-rival Tampa Bay on the road Sunday. They need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
