Food Trends For 2023
I am a self-proclaimed “foodie.” I literally and figuratively devour anything food news related. With the new year, food trends typically evolve a bit depending on what’s popular with diets and healthy eating. Or, it might take influence from social media trends like the TikTok Butter Boards of last year. What food trends for 2023 can we expect? The wickednoodle.com gave us some possible things to look for in the coming year. A few of them I’m already on board with. However, others aren’t necessarily my jam. Spicy foods, Asian cuisine, Kimchi and anything fermented or pickled always seem to trend. Lately, I hear more and more about “mocktails.” Many people are giving “Dry January” a go of it. According to wickednoodle, THC-infused foods continue to gain attention, too. Those are what they refer to as “mood food.” It shows up in everything from entrees, candy, desserts and cocktails. But, let’s take a look at a few of the other food trends for 2023.
