Candles Recalled Over Combustion Concerns-Which Retailer Sold Them
There’s nothing I love more than infusing my home with the scent of my favorite candles. It’s basically how I like to relax on the weekend. I give my house a good cleaning, kick back with some binge TV and light a candle to fill the air with wonderful scents. However, before any of us do that this weekend, check your candles to make sure they’re safe. We got news of candles recalled over combustion concerns, and they come from Ross Dress For Less. According to CNN, some scented candles bought at the retailer pose fire hazards and risk of injury. The news comes in a report from The Consumer Product Safety Commission. The Taylor and Finch Six-Wick Scented Candles risk combustion while lit, causing the glass to break. Ross says they have 5 reports of incidents. And, one person sustained minor injuries.
The candles facing the recall are the scented varieties of Apple and Rosewood and Cedarwood and Clove. The sale price at Ross locations nationwide was $17. The stores sold them from August through October of 2022. So, please check your candles to make sure yours aren’t part of the recall. However, if you discover you did purchase any of the candles recalled over combustion concerns, here’s what to do. Simply return them to the store for a full refund.
