According to the Herald, the industrial park would be near I-485 and very near a residential area. As a matter of fact, a group called Strategic Real Estate Partners is hoping to convince officials to rezone 38 acres from residential to industrial.
Mint Hill is populated by 27,000 people and most of those people want to keep that small town feel. The industrial park will almost certainly bring new jobs but at what cost.
