The Clock Is Ticking For Your Netflix Moochers — Find Out Who They Are
Do you have any Netflix moochers? If so, their freeloading could soon come to an end as Netflix cracks down on password sharing. Find out who they are with a new Netflix feature.
When news of Netflix’s password sharing crackdown first came out, the first person I thought about was our daughter, who has used our Netflix password since she was a child (she is now married and has her own home). But then I got to wondering: Who else is using our Netflix password?
Now you’re thinking about it too. Maybe you don’t even know you’re sharing your password. Remember the time you logged in to Netflix on that TV in the AirBnB you rented? It has been logged in to your account ever since and random guests have been helping themselves to it. This might also explain why your Netflix recommendations have been all over the place. But I digress.
Netflix now has a feature called “Manage Access and Devices.” I’m kind of late to the party on this, because the last time we didn’t log out at a vacation rental, we had to just sign out of all devices and reset our password. Maybe that was before the new feature rolled out. I’m kind of disappointed that my list of users wasn’t preserved, though. It would have been interesting to see who I had collected over the years.
Here’s a helpful Youtube video on how to use the new feature.
