Navy Recovering Parts Of Chinese Balloon Off South Carolina Coast
If you are in Myrtle Beach you can easily spot the Navy ships right off the beach. The Navy is recovering parts of the Chinese spy balloon off the South Carolina coast. The United States military is now in the process of looking for debris. And apparently they are having some success.
Not only is the military searching but so are beach combers. Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach officials say don’t pick up the debris if you find some washing up on shore. Chances are pretty good that if the military can’t find it all, it makes sense that particles would come on shore. The balloon was reportedly the size of around three school buses.
Navy divers will be back at it today. According to Channel 9, the weather was great yesterday and visibility was high, the same should be true today.
I know my part of Clover was all excited about the balloon passing over our “airspace” on Saturday. The York County Sheriff’s office had to issues a statement encouraging me and my neighbors not to take matters into our own hands. To learn more about the military’s efforts to find debris from the reported Chinese spy balloon, get all the details here from Channel 9.
