A North Carolina teacher has been suspended after reportedly cursing and grabbing a student.  The video has gone viral after an art teacher at Ashley Park K-8 in Charlotte is shown grabbing the student then pushing him down.

The video shows the 11 year being berated by the teacher.  According to Channel 9 , the teacher says“Is that what your family does? The men in your family put their hands on women? Your dad hit your mom?” The video definitely does not show the teacher in a good light.

The child's parents are of course very upset by the treatment of the child.  The teacher has been suspended with pay.  Some educators are standing up for the teacher, according to WSOC TV . They say the video clip may not show the whole story. No word on what led up to the incident.

The Charlotte School system says they have been made aware of the situation and they are investigating.  To learn more get details right here from Channel 9.
