Local ingredients, a blend of New York style deli and European street food; count us in! ‘The Good Wurst’, a European inspired deli is opening a new North Carolina location. The magic begins in March. And not only will their delicious from scratch transcontinental food be available but they are hiring as well.
According to WSOC TV, “That 3,000-square-foot restaurant is now hiring for its location at 4015 Corning Place in Riverbend Village. The 130-acre mixed-use complex, at Mount Holly-Huntersville Road and N.C. Highway 16 in Charlotte, is a joint venture between Simpson Commercial Real Estate and Landmark Development Partners.”
So who is the brainchild behind this fantastic concept? That would be Lincoln Clark. He drew the inspiration from the 18 months he lived in Europe. He loved the food and wanted to bring some of it back here to the United States.
Being in country music, I love a good double entendre. The dictionary says that is a word or phrase that is open to two interpretations. It plays on the words “good” and “wurst/worst”. You get it. It certainly looks like a great place to try a new twist on an old favorite.!
