We often think of our wedding day as one of the most memorable and special days of our lives. Unfortunately, that big day usually comes with a big price tag. However, there are ways to avoid that. And, AXIOS Charlotte reports for the fourth year, Goodwill plans to host a bridal pop-up sale. Plus, when it returns next month at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus on Wilkinson Blvd. in Charlotte, brides can find wedding dresses for under $500. So, mark your calendars for the event! Plan to be there March 4 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Furthermore, the price range for wedding dresses is $99 to $499. Plus, other dresses including those for special occasions range from $29 to $149. And, all sales are final.
So, with the average dress costing around $1800 as of 2021 according to "The Knot," this seems too good to pass up! The Goodwill pop-up promises hundreds of bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses and special occasion wear. And, outfits at the event will be in new or gently used condition. Plus, when you think about it, wedding and special occasion dresses are typically worn only once for a short time. And, others may not be worn at all for whatever reason. So, there's a chance to save lots of money on one of the biggest expenses of the wedding. And, it's possible to find something resembling the more expensive designer dresses at a fraction of the price in great condition. Experienced brides who shopped the pop-up suggest keeping an open mind, keeping your shopping group small and enjoying the moment. So, have fun and good luck finding that dream wedding dress for under $500! And, here's a peek at last year's event.
