Who doesn't love a good stack of fluffy pancakes?  Sign me up for gobs of butter and dripping syrup.  And, Mashed.com says you find a delicious pancake in every state.  So, where do they point to the best pancakes in South Carolina?  Apparently, Harry's Breakfast Pancakes are deemed the best in the state.  And, we find them in Myrtle Beach.  Mashed says Harry's features pancakes as a specialty.  In fact, the Myrtle Beach spot found itself on USA Today's Best 10 list.  They point to a homestyle and friendly atmosphere that enhances the yummy comfort food staple.  Plus, the menu item has everything we love about pancakes with plenty of maple syrup and rich butter.  Of course Harry's has all the breakfast dishes in addition to the stacks of cakes.  And, their pancakes come with a variety of toppings from strawberries to bananas and nuts.  Find Harry's on N. Kings Highway.

Furthermore, if you wonder where Mashed says to find the best pancakes in North Carolina, let's discuss that too.  According to Mashed, it's Joey Pancake House in Maggie Valley.  The website says Joey's serves up seasonally inspired pancakes.  And, they acknowledge the beautiful presentation and toppings at Joey's.  Tripadvisor says the occasional wait for a table is worth it at Joey's.  Also, Yelp praises the gluten-free options.  Find Joey's on Soco Rd in Maggie Valley.  You can check here for the Mashed.com full list of best pancakes in every state.  So, maybe take a road trip for the best pancakes in South Carolina and North Carolina, too!

Charlotte Home to North Carolina’s Best Breakfast Sandwich

Are you a fan of breakfast sandwiches? I know some people feel like a breakfast sandwich can change the way they tackle a day. Personally, the only breakfast sandwich I am big on is grilled cheese. I know, very basic of me. But, breakfast in general can be very important. It truly kick-starts your day and helps you be able to better navigate the day. From fast food spots to bagel shops and coffee shops, you can find a good breakfast sandwich. But, where are the best?

Cheapism is telling us the best places to enjoy a breakfast sandwich in every state. So, of course, we had to check out what spots are representing the Carolinas. These spots are based on high customer ratings and food critics. Even more fun, Charlotte is home to the best one in North Carolina. How about that? If you have tried either of these then let us know your thoughts!

North Carolina

Laurel Market is a favorite for breakfast sandwiches in North Carolina. Not only do they offer a wide range of options to enjoy for breakfast, but you can also get crazy and build your own monster of a sandwich. From a classic grilled cheese on your choice of bread to class sausage, egg, and cheese and a superior breakfast ham sandwich. Sounds like breakfast might have just gotten a lot better in Charlotte.

South Carolina

Of course, the best spot in South Carolina is in Charleston. Page's Okra Grill has the famous TJ's Hot Mess that you should try out for breakfast. I LOVE Page's but I am always enjoying lunch and dinner there instead. The famous breakfast sandwich has fried chicken between two halves of buttery biscuit with pepper jack cheese, eggs, and jalapeños. Sounds pretty great, right? Time for breakfast!
