Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Announce Street Racing Confiscations
Charlotte Mecklenburg Police say they have cited five drivers and confiscated five vehicles in connection with reckless driving and street racing.
The action came over the weekend, following multiple complaints and widespread news coverage about street takeovers and dangerous driving.

Police also say they have issued nearly 60 citations, confiscated a total of 17 vehicles, and made six arrests since the beginning of February, all related to street racing and dangerous driving.
