Good Looking People Are Funnier

How can you argue with science.  According to a few very intellectual  studies, good looking people are funnier than less fortunate looking people.

I saw this in our "show prep" this morning and so I did a little digging.  It turns out there have been multiple articles written about this phenomenon over the years.  This particular study was done by the University of Stirling.  It found that good looking people receive bigger laughs when people can see their face.

Apparently it goes way back to the early days of men trying to attract women for pro creation.  The theory by researchers is that men use humor as a mating signal to show off their intelligence and good genes to women.  To learn more, check out this study and article from the University of Texas.
