Full disclosure, I am not adopted.  That being said, I've always been fascinated with a question or dilemma that I imagine all adopted children deal with at some point.  "Who is my mother?"  I have had friends who have asked themselves this question and said, "I don't care.  The woman that adopted me IS my mother.  Period."

I've also had friends who have gone down that rabbit hole only to be disappointed at the results.  In the process, feelings can be easily hurt, and relationships damaged.  It's a tough decision to make.  Do I want to know?  Do I need to know?  Allie Murphy Seabock decided that whatever the juice was, it was worth the squeeze.  FOR HER MOTHER.  When Allie's mom was nineteen, she gave up a little girl, "Jamee," for adoption.  And it was a closed adoption.  That means the birth mother has no contact whatsoever with the adoptive parents.  Well, that little girl eventually took a DNA test and found out who her mother was.  She reached out.  Mother and daughter were reunited.  This occurred in 2018, but the video is just surfacing now.  I know a lot of these situations don't have happy resolutions.  This one did.  Watch this.  And get the Kleenex.
