Bailey says Morgan told him to basically, show up. Morgan has only ever canceled one show in his career and told Bailey to play even if he isn't feeling his best. Fans pay to see you so show up.

What's the old adage, half of success is simply showing up even if you don't feel like it. Bailey received the 2023 CMT Breakthrough male video of the year nomination and has a hit song on the radio right now called "Rock and A Hard Place".

A former radio partner of mine told me when I first got started, "show up and if you run out of something to say people would probably rather hear a hit song than your voice".
