North Carolina Is The Only State To Favor This Girl Scout Cookie

CBS 17 says North Carolina is different than most states when it comes to favorite Girl Scout cookies. The grilling and food experts at CookOutNews use trend software to analyze Twitter data to create food maps.

More than 230,000 tweets over the last 90 days were looked at. They wanted to check out what Girl Scout cookies had people tweeting. As you'd assume, almost every state loves Thin Mints. The classic Thin Mint had the most mentions. It was the top tweeted cookie in 37 states, including Virginia and South Carolina. This delicious treat of mint and chocolate has been around since the 1950s.

North Carolina was different from everybody else. North Carolina was the only state to favor Caramel deLites. Here is the breakdown of state favorites.

Thin Mints – 37 states
Samoas – 6 states
Trefoils – 5 states
Carmel deLites – 1 state
Tagalongs – 1 state

Tagalongs were the most mentioned in Oklahoma. All I can say is...I love them all!
