WRAL says a Johnston County, North Carolina teacher is under fire for taping a student's mouth shut.

Brady Webster sent a text to his mother on Feb 14th from Smithfield Middle School. It included a photo of him with painter's tape across his mouth. Obviously, Mom wasn't happy and she said he son was humiliated.

Brady Webster's mother, Catherine, says he is a talkative class clown. This taping of the mouth had also happened on several other occasions.

Catherine complained to the principal. She says the teacher sometimes tapes kids' wrists together. The teacher has resigned. The sheriff's office is now conducting an investigation because other parents are complaining. How do you feel about this? Proper punishment or going too far?
