Mark Wahlberg recently explained why his move from Hollywood was so important. Fox News says the actor/burger entrepreneur said the move to Vegas gave his children a “chance to thrive.”
Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham, 44, have four children: daughters Ella, 19, and Grace, 13, and sons Michael, 17, and Brendan, 14. In April 2022, he put their luxurious Beverly Hills home on the market for $87.5 million and then bought a home in Summerlin, just outside of Las Vegas, in the exclusive neighborhood of The Summit Club.
"My daughter's an equestrian," he added. "My son's a golfer. My oldest daughter now she's off to college. My son's a junior. There's lots of opportunity here as well for me. We're trying to create a studio. We're trying to build a shoe factory. We want to create lots of jobs here."
