We're getting closer to the summer travel season.  And, many head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Therefore, we start to search for new hot spots to try for dining.  And, The Sun News reports we have a new restaurant to visit in Myrtle Beach for upscale dining.  It's called "O.A.K. Prime Kitchen and Bar."  And, O.A.K. stands for "one of a kind," according to the restaurant website.  Visitors will find the new restaurant in Carolina Forest in the space once occupied by Cypress Grille.  In browsing photos on their site, my mouth instantly watered.  The mere mention of "smoked chicken mac 'n cheese" and "jalapeno pimento cheese biscuits" hooked me.  O.A.K. also offers plenty of fresh seafood, salads, burgers, steaks and more.  And, they even have "New Zealand Elk Chops" on the menu.  That intrigues me!  Plus, diners can choose from a variety of craft cocktails.  O.A.K. points to using fresh, never frozen, ingredients.

Furthermore, this Myrtle Beach South Carolina upscale restaurant has a strong culinary team behind it.  According to the O.A.K. site, Chef Jerrett "JK" King, a native of Myrtle Beach, brings years of experience.  And, the name reflects the motto.  "Why be like everyone else, when you can be One of A Kind."  King, along with experienced mixologist Chris Roberts, promise excitement and innovation.  I immediately added O.A.K. to my list of restaurants that get a visit this summer!  Take a look at their website to find out more about this new Myrtle Beach, South Carolina upscale dining spot.
