Happy National Pet Day! It is a well documented fact that we love our pets here at this very popular radio station. Well, it's not bragging if it is true! We thank you as always for making us one of North Carolina's favorite and most iconic radio stations. So who are the animals we go home to?
Today is a day to honor our best four legged friends. I honestly don't know what I would do without my dog Winnie. She has literally been with me and has supported me in my darkest days. We aren't the only ones who love our pets. Over half of people in North Carolina also love their pets.
According to Pawlicy, 58.6 percent of people in the Tar Heel state owns at least one pet. More people are spending time and money on their pets. Most people talk to their pet in a hilariously annoying voice as well. Guilty as charged. You can't hear me right now but we always say to Winnie, "Who is the most beautiful girl in the world" in a really annoying baby voice.
