North Carolina Man and Bear Give Each Other A Cartoon Like Scare
I called my friend Debbie on Saturday to tell her about this hilarious video I saw out of Asheville. In short, an Asheville man and bear came face to face and gave each other a scare. It really looks more like a cartoon.
David Openheimer was relaxing in his carport when he did happen to hear his doorbell ring camera. He looked around and didn’t see anything right away so he went about his business of relaxing. Then the camera clearly shows a medium size bear wandering into the carport. It startled David and he raises up a bit but doesn’t move, he just stares at the bear. Just about that time the bear notices David.
WLOS out of Asheville shared the video and it looks like something you would see on Saturday morning cartoons. The bear looks startled, his ears go up and then he dashes out of view. Buncombe County is seeing more and more bears. They reportedly had 400 bear related calls last year. To see the video and learn more about the story get details here from Channel 9.
