A Kannapolis man beat the odds not once but twice and this time it made him a millionaire, sort of. What are the chances of winning in the North Carolina Education lottery and winning THIS big?
We don't have the exact math on that but we couldn't be happier for Cedric Bass. He won a million dollar scratch off prize Thursday only a few months after winning thousands of dollars. He purchased his latest winning scratch off ticket at the Willow Oaks BP on George Liles Parkway. Back in January Bass hooked a $182,075 dollar prize.
Cedric took the lump sum in his latest win which comes to $600,000. Of course you have to pay those pesky taxes and fees so when it was all said and done, he walked home to Cabarrus County, North Carolina with around $427,000 dollars in his pocket.
No word yet on what Cedric Bass will do with all that money. We could think of a few things. Fun to dream! To learn more about this story get details from Channel 9 in Charlotte right here. This Cabarrus County man beat the odds and wins another huge lottery prize.
