Kane Brown Reveals His Dream Acting Role
Kane Brown made his acting debut on the CBS drama Fire Country during the same week at the 2023 CMT Music Awards earlier this month. Kane talked to us in Nashville yesterday afternoon (4/17) before he celebrated his recent chart-topper “Like I Love Country Music” and told us about his acting dreams.
Brown said of his first acting gig, “I loved Robin (his character) as my first role; I felt like it was really me, so it wasn’t too hard to try to act. I got a lot of good advice from the actors that were on the scene. I kept asking them how they go about doing their characters, and they said, ‘Just make it yourself,’ and I thought that was really cool. They made me feel like family. I wouldn’t have wanted another series to start my acting role.”
While he admitted that he wouldn’t be auditioning for too many roles, he shared his movie plans with us and what parts he would love to do. Kane offered, “I would love to be in movies, but we’re not gonna push anything, we’re just gonna go, and whatever offers we get, we’re gonna look at ’em and see if we want ’em.”
And his dream roles? He said. “Every Avenger that you could possibly think of, yeah, that would be sick. I love scary movies and comedies. I think it would be cool to do a comedy. It’d be cool.”

Brown played his new song “Bury Me In Georgia” at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena late last month (3/31), and flames shot out of cannons on the stage as the crowd rose to their feet.
Before the show, he talked about his new song. He said, “‘Bury Me In Georgia’ is just a song about the home state that I grew up in. That’s where I want to go whenever it’s my time. Especially the Georgia Bulldogs, they’re on top of it right now.” Kane adds, “Georgia is always gonna place in my heart.”
The first verse of the song sings, “10 miles outta Chattanooga / South of that state line / There’s a no-name road off Highway 2 / Just past the welcome sign / It’s where I was born / It’s where I was raised / Ain’t sayin’ I’m ready yet / But that’s the place / I wanna be / After my last breath.”
The chorus sings, “Bury me in Georgia / Lemme rest in peace / Underneath the pines / Yeah, yeah, yeah / Where my roots run deep / When it’s my day / Put me in that clay / And remember what I told ya / When I die / Bury me in Georgia.”
